Smart Greenhouse Monitoring App and Farm Software

Why does information get lost in the greenhouse and the barn?

In greenhouse and livestock operations, losses rarely come from one big breakdown; they come from small deviations nobody notices: a temperature drop overnight, a valve left open, a clogged drip line, an animal in the herd that is eating less but that nobody has written down. Much of this information is either never collected or sits scattered across notebooks, WhatsApp groups and the screens of different devices.

Problems we often see in the field

  • The data exists but is not in one place: the climate control panel, the irrigation controller and separately purchased sensors each show data on their own screen, which makes looking back and comparing almost impossible.
  • Alarms are noticed too late: a threshold breach only flashes on the screen in the greenhouse; at night or at the weekend, nobody sees it.
  • Irrigation and fertigation records are not kept: which section received how much water and nutrient, and when, stays on paper, so the reasons behind yield differences cannot be analysed.
  • Herd knowledge lives in people’s heads: vaccination, insemination, calving and treatment history sits in the stockperson’s memory or a notebook, and it is lost when staff change.
  • The internet on site is weak: general-purpose cloud apps stop recording as soon as the connection drops.

Rather than selling a boxed product for these problems, 360 Soft builds software shaped around the devices and workflows in your operation. It has three core parts: an integration layer that collects data from sensors and controllers, a web-based management dashboard, and a mobile app used by staff in the field. This setup is our custom software development, mobile app development and n8n workflow automation services adapted to agriculture.

Modules for greenhouse and herd management

Start with the modules you need and expand as your operation grows.

Sensor and Device Integration (IoT)

Temperature, relative humidity, soil moisture, light, CO2 and EC/pH readings, along with irrigation controller data, are collected over MQTT, Modbus or an HTTP API and written to the database with a timestamp.

Live Monitoring Dashboard

Real-time values plus daily and seasonal charts for every greenhouse and section. Compare two periods or two sections side by side to see how climate differences affect yield.

Threshold and Alarm Rules

Lower and upper thresholds per section, duration conditions (for example, a threshold exceeded for a set number of minutes) and day/night profiles. Alarms reach the right person by app notification, e-mail or WhatsApp.

Irrigation and Fertigation Log

Irrigation schedules, water volumes delivered and nutrient recipes are recorded: automatically if the controller exposes data, or manually with a single tap in the mobile app if it does not.

Herd Tracking Mobile App

An animal record by ear tag number, with calving, vaccination, insemination, treatment and drug withdrawal period entries, plus a reminder list for upcoming vaccinations and check-ups.

Offline Field Recording

The mobile app keeps recording without a connection and syncs with the server when the signal returns. No coverage in the barn or greenhouse does not stop the work.

Task and Shift Tracking

Daily checklists, spraying and maintenance tasks are assigned to staff, and completed work is closed with a photo and a note.

Reporting and Export

Reports by section, period and crop; Excel/CSV export and, where needed, API transfer to your accounting or ERP system.

Data flow from sensor to phone

How is the technical architecture set up?

Sensors and controllers on site connect to a gateway installed in the greenhouse or barn (an industrial mini PC, or the data output of your existing automation panel). The gateway reads data at short intervals, buffers it locally and sends it to the server over an encrypted connection. On the server side, a database structure suited to time-series data is set up, so even months later you can pull up the temperature curve for a specific week in a specific section within seconds.

Alarm rules run on the server. When a threshold is breached, an event record is opened and a message goes to the right person through the n8n and WhatsApp chatbot infrastructure. Replying to the message to mark the alarm as “seen” or to reassign it can also be added to the flow. That way the alarm lives on the phone of the person on duty, not on a screen nobody is watching.

The mobile app is developed for iOS and Android from a single codebase. Designed for use in the field, it has large buttons, short forms and fast recording by barcode or RFID scan. Managers, meanwhile, see every greenhouse, the herd and all records entered by staff from the web dashboard.

Implementation process - Smart Greenhouse Monitoring App and Farm Software

Implementation process

A roadmap that starts with a pilot installation and is validated in the field.

01

Site Survey and Device Inventory

We list the existing sensors, controllers and network infrastructure in your greenhouses and barns, identify which devices can provide data and pinpoint missing measurement points.

02

Module and Alarm Scenarios

Which values will be monitored, the thresholds, the alarm recipients and the records to be kept in the mobile app become a written scope document. The fixed-price quote is based on this scope.

03

Integration and Pilot

A pilot is first installed in one greenhouse or one section of the barn; data flow, alarm latency and app usage are tested in the field.

04

Rollout and Training

With the corrections from the pilot, the system is rolled out to all areas, and field staff and managers are trained in its use.

05

Support and Development

Maintenance and development support continues for new sensors, new greenhouses or new reporting needs.

How is the quote prepared?

In projects like these, the most critical point is that the software fits the real workflow on site. That is why, during discovery, we talk not only to managers but also to the staff who do the irrigation and look after the animals. If buyer and shipment tracking is also needed on the sales side, a CRM software module can be added to the platform; and if you want to sell your own produce online, take a look at our e-commerce packages.

Price: a fixed-price proposal tailored to your project, within 24 hours. To clarify your scope, you can fill in the quote form or reach us on +90 850 335 10 87.

In most cases, no. First we look at how your existing devices expose their data: Modbus, MQTT, an HTTP API or the manufacturer’s cloud service, for example. Every device whose data we can read is connected to the platform. If you have a closed panel that does not share any data at all, we may suggest a separate data collection unit alongside it; we make that decision together during discovery.

The on-site gateway is designed to buffer data locally and forward it to the server once the connection is back. The mobile app can also be built to record offline and sync later. For critical alarms we also consider low-bandwidth channels such as SMS.

Mobile app notifications, e-mail and WhatsApp messages are the most commonly used channels. WhatsApp notifications are sent through the official WhatsApp Business API and triggered by n8n workflows. You define as rules in the dashboard which alarm goes to whom, at what time and through which channel.

Yes. Animal records are opened by ear tag number; if you use RFID readers or barcodes, scanning with the mobile app or a handheld terminal gives fast access to the record. Reporting to official registration systems remains your business’s responsibility; the software helps you keep the data required for those reports in order.

Yes. We set the scope according to the size of the operation: a grower with a single greenhouse can start with just the monitoring and alarm module and add the irrigation plan or herd module as the need arises. The quote is prepared at a fixed price based on the agreed modules.

Because every project involves a different number of sensors, greenhouses, animals and users, we do not offer off-the-shelf package prices. After the discovery call, a fixed-price proposal tailored to your project is sent within 24 hours. If hardware needs to be supplied, it is shown in the proposal as a separate line item from the software.
