In car parks, entry tickets get lost, tariffs are calculated by hand at the booth, and a monthly subscriber whose payment is late still drives straight in. Shift changes bring cash differences, and the operator can only guess at hourly occupancy and real revenue. In the system we build, vehicles are recorded at entry by an ANPR (plate recognition) camera, the tariff is calculated automatically at exit and the barrier opens. Subscribers pay their fee in the app and are warned when a payment is overdue; shift cash-up, occupancy and revenue reports are monitored live.

Off-the-shelf software or custom-built?

When off-the-shelf is enough

For single-entrance, low-capacity car parks, the equipment manufacturer’s ready-made software can be enough.

When custom software pays off

If you need several car parks, subscriptions and corporate fleet deals, online payment and central reporting, a custom system closes the revenue leaks.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with our existing barriers and cameras?

We integrate with barriers and plate recognition devices that can be controlled over the network; model compatibility is checked in discovery.

Can we manage several car parks from one dashboard?

Yes, each car park’s tariff and capacity is defined separately, and reports come both consolidated and per car park.

How long are plate and photo data kept?

The retention period is set to your policy, and data is deleted when it expires, in line with GDPR.

What happens if a subscriber’s payment is late?

The subscriber is notified; after a defined period the subscription is suspended and the standard tariff applies.
