Event organisers pay high commissions to the big ticket platforms and get no access to customer data; those selling through their own channels fight seat clashes, fake tickets and slow checks at the door. Guest lists, protocol and sponsor tickets are also usually tracked separately in lists. In the system we build, an event opens with a venue seat plan and category prices; the buyer picks a seat, pays and receives a single-use QR ticket. Door staff scan it with a phone, the same ticket cannot get in twice, and the organiser follows sales and door entries live.

Off-the-shelf software or custom-built?

When off-the-shelf is enough

For organisers who run events only occasionally, ready-made ticketing platforms are a practical start.

When custom software pays off

For businesses that run events regularly and want to cut commissions and own their customer data, a custom ticketing system pays for itself quickly.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if a ticket is copied?

Each QR code is single-use; if the same ticket is scanned again after the first scan, the door app shows a warning.

Is internet needed at the door?

The scanning app can download the ticket list in advance; with multiple doors, live syncing runs whenever there is a connection.

Can it work with turnstiles?

It can be integrated with turnstile and access systems that offer an API, so a QR ticket opens the gate.

Are card details stored in the system?

No, payments are taken through a licensed payment provider and card data is never held in our system.
