A beekeeper running hundreds of hives leaves it to memory, or to notes chalked on the hive lid, to know which hive has an ageing queen, which was treated for varroa and which has swarmed. In migratory beekeeping the information scatters even further as the apiary moves from place to place. In the system we build, every hive has a QR-coded card; when the beekeeper opens the hive they scan it with the phone and enter queen status, frame count, disease and treatments in a few taps. Apiary sites are tracked on a map, honey harvest is recorded by hive and region, and the lab analysis report is linked to the batch.

Problems we see among beekeepers
- No history for individual hives
- Varroa and medication treatments going unrecorded
- Hives that cannot be tracked across migratory sites
- Honey batches that cannot be matched to an analysis report

Jar stock, and orders from retailers and direct customers.
How it works day to day
- 1
A QR label is stuck on each hive and its card is opened.
- 2
At inspection the beekeeper scans the hive and enters its condition and treatments.
- 3
When the apiary moves, the new location is recorded on the map.
- 4
At harvest the honey quantity is recorded by hive and batch.
- 5
Once the analysis report is attached, the batch is released to stock and sales.

Integrations
Off-the-shelf software or custom-built?
When off-the-shelf is enough
For hobby beekeepers with a few hives, ready-made beekeeping apps and a notebook are enough.
When custom software pays off
For migratory operations with hundreds of hives and producers selling honey under their own brand, a custom system joining hive history, batch analysis and sales is worth more.
How the budget is built
We launch the workflow that saves you the most time first, then add modules based on real usage. The full scope below is calculated with 16 screens and 9 modules; the final price follows a free discovery call and a written scope.
Maintenance and improvements (optional): €400 / month. Hosting, SMS, WhatsApp and app store fees are listed separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can records be entered in the mountains without internet?
Yes. The app works offline and the data is synchronised once you are back in coverage.
Can it be used with gloves?
It is designed around QR scanning and large selection buttons, and most records are completed in a few taps.
Does the system slow down as the number of hives grows?
No. The infrastructure scales to thousands of hives and inspection records.
Can we sell honey through it as well?
Yes. A jar stock and order module is added, and a simple sales page can be set up if you wish.
