In a warehouse that stores other people’s goods, storage fees are the real revenue, but when pallet entry dates, split releases and different client contracts are calculated by hand, invoices go out short. In a bonded warehouse the customs status of the goods and the link to the declaration must be tracked as well. In the system we build, every receipt is recorded with the client, declaration and bin location, and barcoded put-away and picking is done with a handheld terminal. Storage fees are calculated daily under each contract’s pallet, square-metre or volume rule, and the invoice is prepared automatically at period end.

Problems warehouse operators face
- Storage fee calculations coming out incomplete or wrong
- Hunting for which shelf the goods are on
- Clients phoning to ask about their stock
- Bonded goods losing their link to the declaration

Integrations
Off-the-shelf software or custom-built?
When off-the-shelf is enough
For a warehouse with few clients and a single tariff, a general inventory program can be enough to start with.
When custom software pays off
Where each client has a different contract, bonded-goods rules apply and a client portal is needed, a custom system that stops storage revenue leaking pays for itself quickly.
How the budget is built
We launch the workflow that saves you the most time first, then add modules based on real usage. The full scope below is calculated with 20 screens and 9 modules; the final price follows a free discovery call and a written scope.
Maintenance and improvements (optional): €450 / month. Hosting, SMS, WhatsApp and app store fees are listed separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can different clients have different tariffs?
Yes. Unit, price, minimum charge and handling items are defined separately in each client contract.
How are storage fees calculated on partial releases?
Each batch and pallet accrues daily from its own entry date, and a partial release is reflected in the remaining quantity.
Can it be used without a handheld terminal?
Yes. Android phones with a camera can serve as barcode scanners.
How is existing stock data brought in?
Stock lists by client and bin are imported from Excel and verified with a first count.
