In a phone shop every device is a unique item: it is bought, sold, returned or transferred to another branch by its IMEI number. When this is written in a notebook or entered by quantity in a general stock program, it is impossible to tell which device was sold to whom, when the warranty ends, or which devices have gone missing. In the system we build, every device enters stock by IMEI and all its movements are tracked under that number. At sale, the customer, invoice and warranty are linked to the IMEI; accessories, SIM plans and insurance are sold on the same receipt, and staff commission is calculated automatically.
