On a dairy farm, profit depends on inseminating the cow at the right time, catching mastitis early and adjusting the ration to yield. When heat observations are on a whiteboard, milk yield in a notebook and vaccinations in the vet’s memory, the calving interval stretches and unproductive animals stay in the herd unnoticed. In the system we build, every animal gets a card under its ear tag number; heat, insemination, pregnancy checks and calving are recorded. Parlour data shows milk yield per animal, conductivity readings show mastitis risk, and the system reminds you in advance of drying-off, vaccination and check-up dates.

Problems we see on farms
- Missed heat and insemination windows
- No knowledge of milk yield per animal
- Vaccination and medication withdrawal periods that cannot be tracked
- Ration cost that cannot be tied to yield

How it works day to day
- 1
The animal is registered by ear tag number and assigned to a group.
- 2
Barn staff enter heat and other events from the phone.
- 3
Parlour data posts daily milk yield to the animal’s card.
- 4
The system reminds you of insemination, check-up, vaccination and drying-off dates.
- 5
At month end a report on yield, reproductive performance and feed cost is produced.

Integrations
Off-the-shelf software or custom-built?
When off-the-shelf is enough
For small family farms, ready-made herd apps and the milking system’s own software may be enough.
When custom software pays off
For operations with hundreds of head, several barns and a milk collection contract, a custom system joining reproduction, yield and cost data significantly raises profitability.
How the budget is built
We launch the workflow that saves you the most time first, then add modules based on real usage. The full scope below is calculated with 18 screens and 9 modules; the final price follows a free discovery call and a written scope.
Maintenance and improvements (optional): €450 / month. Hosting, SMS, WhatsApp and app store fees are listed separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can data from a milking robot or milk meter be imported?
Per-animal milk data is transferred from milking systems that provide a data output; where that is not supported, daily bulk entry is used.
Can the vet access the system?
Yes. A separate authorised user is created for the vet to record treatments, check-ups and vaccinations.
How do we migrate our current animal list?
Ear tag numbers and basic details are imported from an Excel list or an export of official records.
Can it be used for sheep and goats too?
Yes. Fields for lambing, shearing and milk yield are adapted for sheep and goats.
