In boat charter the same gulet is chartered whole one week and sold cabin by cabin the next; on a day-trip boat, seat capacity, weather cancellations and hotel transfers come into play. When agent bookings sit in email, overbooking and lost commission calculations become routine. In the system we build, each boat’s calendar handles private charter, cabin sales and day trips. Guests or agents see availability and pay a deposit, the captain and crew plan and transfer list are generated automatically, and refund rules are applied on cancellations.

Problems we see in boat operations
- Overbooking across agent and direct sales
- No live view of cabin and seat capacity
- Refund confusion after weather cancellations
- Captain and crew shifts planned by hand

Integrations
Off-the-shelf software or custom-built?
When off-the-shelf is enough
For operators with one boat that only does private charters, ready-made booking tools can be enough.
When custom software pays off
If you manage several boats, cabin sales, agent allotments and crew planning together, a custom system prevents overbooking and commission leakage.
