“Our site is slow” is not, on its own, a problem definition. Google’s Core Web Vitals reduce speed to three concrete measures: how long it takes for the page’s main content to appear (LCP), how quickly the page responds to user interaction (INP), and how much the content shifts while the page loads (CLS).
We always start optimisation with measurement. Lab tests (Lighthouse) are a useful guide, but what really decides the outcome is data from your actual users. Using Search Console and field data, we identify which page template has problems on which device, and start where the work will pay back most.
The typical sources of gain are well known: oversized images, late-loading fonts, render-blocking scripts, third-party tracking code and image areas with no defined dimensions. We tackle them one by one, measure the effect of each step, and at hand-over give you a written before-and-after comparison.
